Stupid Cupid

This is my first English post. Some of my posting will be in English language because I want to improve my English skill. If there are any mistakes, please tell me in the comment under this post, or send an email to my gmail. This is the story of Cupid.

Don’t you know Cupid yet? Cupid is the most famous of Valentine symbols. He is known as a mischievous, winged child armed with bow and arrows and is famous for piercing hearts. The arrow signifies desire and emotions of love. Cupid aims those arrows at Gods and Humans, causing them to fall deeply in love. Cupid has always played a role in the celebration of love and lovers. In ancient Greece he was known as Eros the young son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. To the Romans he was Cupid, and his mother was Venus.

If you ever falling in love, it maybe you was knocked down by Cupid’s arrow. He shoots his arrow to everyone he wants. The timing and the target are random. He never tells us about when he will shoot the arrow for us. Therefore, we can’t make any preparation. He aims his bow to everyone he want. If we are lucky, the arrow will hit the person who we want, we like, we dream, and we wish to be our love. But, sometime he aims our arrow to person who we hate, not our type, ugly, naughty, or very different with our criteria.

Thanks Cupid, you gave me the sweetest, the most beautiful, and the unforgettable feeling. You sent me a perfect girl. She is very special for me. She is my dream. I feel very happy beside her. I want to be with her all of the time. But, you are very, very stupid. Just like my first arrow, my second arrow hit wrong target. She is not for me. You broke my heart. If there is any arrow available for me, please select the right and the best target for my next arrow. Dont be stupid anymore..........Please..................
